Who we are and what we do

Pinkeye Graphics Limited is a small and lively company which specialises in producing the distinctive collaborative design work of Matthew Chatfield and Cat James. Both online and in print the work of Pinkeye Graphics has a style and usability which reflects the skills of the partners.

The invites and reply cards are just breathtakingly amazing! I am over the moon with them and can't thank you enough for all your hard work, enthusiasm and FAB ideas. 'Thank you' doesn't even begin to cover it.

Pinkeye Graphics did a fantastic job getting my website up and running in a fairly short space of time, even though I wanted to option to edit bits myself. They made this pretty straightforward to do and were always willing to amend bits and answer queries until I was happy with it.

Cat James

Designer Cat has a visual style which lends itself to producing modern and effective communications both in print and online. Providing the style and layout of most of Pinkeye's websites, Cat can call on her extensive knowledge of 20th century design to bring out a retro classic, or her qualification in graphic communication to use the latest methods for her clients.

With her unusual combination of traditional 2D and 3D design skills (Cat is a qualified industrial designer and potter) alongside a passion for online media, Cat brings a fresh and highly effective voice to an internet swamped by me-too wannabe websites.

Cat is also employed by the Isle of Wight Council as a graphic designer and has many years' experience producing publications for a wide-range of clients within this public sector organisation.

Matthew Chatfield

A successful web writer and publisher since 1995, Matthew has designed and managed dozens of websites including the award-winning Naturenet. Having seen internet trends and techniques come and go, he has a knack for finding the right solution.

Featuring content and usability to the fore, his clean old-school websites transparently utilise recent web developments to deliver online messages consistently for clients from the nationally-acclaimed British Wildlife Photography Awards to the hyper-local Friends of Appley.

Matthew's experience and knowledge of the countryside and environmental issues has been put to good use for a range of 'green' clients. His copy writing, editing and image manipulation skills also feature on much of the offline work of Pinkeye Graphics.
